Improving Livelihood of Ngurumo Women Group By establishment of Batik Products Shop in Kibondo Ward in Kibondo District, in Kigoma.

Abstract
This project was concerned with the improving livelihood of Ngurumo women group in Kibondo ward in Kibondo District, Kigoma. This report details the implementation process which was done during the community need assessment. The major aim of the project was to make an intervention that could brought sustainable development and improve the live hood income among the Ngurumo women group in Kibondo ward. The research design used was the descriptive research design and the sampling technique was randomly sampling. Data collection was for both qualitative and quantitative data done with the use of questionnaires, interview, FGD and document review. The analysis methods used were descriptive statistics and content analysis with the assistance of SPSS. The major issues arose during the study was Lack of batik shop products, poor access to clean water, security, and lack of collateral among the groups or people to access loans from the formal financial institution and saving cooperatives . For this case the prioritized project was establishment of batik shop products which will increase sells, improve their income and hence improve livelihood of the household income in Kibondo ward especially to Ngurumo women group since the group was already established and registered to district level.
