Abstract

Women need to be empowered to engage in economic activities to make their income. The researcher assessed the demands of the community, gathered data, analyzed it, and used the pairwise method to interpret the results. The vegetable farming project was identified as the best intervention – whereby cabbage, tomatoes and watermelons were grown. Similarly, a group known as Kebosongo Vegetable Farming Women Group (KVFWG) was organized, the land was bought, training was offered, and vegetables, such as melons and cabbages, were bought. The members obtained money to meet the requirements through their self-contribution.
