Quantitative data were analysed descriptively through Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) while Qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis. The findings revealed that TASAF III interventions contributed in alleviating poverty at household level through self-employments, improved agricultural activities and small business. Likewise, TASAF III interventions and projects implemented resulted into improved people’s income (on average of TZS 350,000 per month) generating activities from which 69.1% of respondents were in agreement that it ensured sustainable income generation to household. Furthermore, it was found that the current living standard of TASAF III beneficiaries at Mbeya district improved from average to good situation as reported by 52.5% respondents with a living standard ranked as average and 41.0% as good. It is concluded that the opportunity created by TASAF III through enabling beneficiaries participate into various seminars and trainings need to be enhanced for the purpose of enhancing their knowledge on economic related issues.
