Abstract
The study aimed at Assessing the Council Health Management Team Capacity in Managing Health Project, with specific objective of, identify number of projects implemented at all level in the period of three years 2017-2020, to examine amount of fund received and utilized in implementation of health projects between three years 2017-2020 and to examine education level and experience of CHMT members and health center and dispensaries staff. A case study research design was taken with two data collection methods. Sample sizes of 55 respondents were selected purposively, conveniently and randomly selected from CHMT/Co-opted members, Health facility in charge, HFGC members and supporting staff. The statistical package for Social Science were applied, sub-Programme frequencies used to analyses the distributional and descriptive characteristic of the variables. Moreover, sub-Programme cross-tabs were used to detect any association between and among the variables categorizing summarizing and presenting them in tabular from to process qualitative data. The study results show that: most of the respondent is not aware with health projects and its facilities. Many questions asked they answered with no confidence showing that they don’t know. Two things on study whether this community never involve to the health project implementation; or the project is not well defined to the community and mentors them to know the position of involvement It is recommended that before the commencement of the project in the community all stakeholder of the project and community based on that project is vital involvement to the project selection and implementation
