A dissertation on Installation of Rossele Wine Processing Machine for Sustainable Economic Development of JAGEF Group in Old Moshi East Ward, Moshi District is a result of community needs assessment (CNA) conducted in Old Moshi Kikarara, Moshi District. Prior to project interventions the CNA exercise was conducted which came up with the community needs and problems. The main problem unveiled with CNA exercise which faces majority community members of JAGEF group in old Moshi East Ward was to attain sustainable Economic Development. Among other activities of members of JAGEF group in Old Moshi East Wards are agricultural activities such as coffee as cash crop, bananas, maize and sweet potatoes for house consumption, livestock and small traders. Under this study there were three specific objectives set to solve the need of JAGEF groups; such as to describe social economic characteristics, identifying resources available for improving livelihood and to determine priority needs of JAGEF group. Three objectives of this project planned to achieve were; to acquire wine processing machine by the end of June 2017, train 5 JAGEF members to use machine by the end of July 2017 and to train and equip 25 JAGEF members on marketing skills. Two objectives have been implemented except one which acquired machine for processing Rossele Wine. This is due to delay of fund allocation from central government to local government.
