Abstract

The study investigated the contribution of employees’ rewards to organizational performance in Tanzania National Parks in Arusha. Specifically, the study examined the contribution of three variables financial rewards, recognition, and staff training to organization performance. The study employed an0explanatory cross0sectional design0to explain the causal relationship between financial rewards, recognition, and staff training on organizational performance. The study population was 208 employees, and samples of 68 respondents were drawn. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and respondents were randomly picked. Data were also analyzed0using0frequencies, percentages, and multiple0linear0regression. Results shows that there is a significant0positive correlation0between rewards0parameters, as evidenced by staff training, with a p-value0of 0.022, which is0less than00.05, indicating that there0is a significant positive effect0of staff training0on organization performance. The regression analysis0output also confirmed0that there0is a significant positive relationship between recognition and organization0performance, as the p-value is 0.034 and financial reward has a p-value of 0.041. The study concludes that the enhancement of financial rewards, staff training, and recognition improves organizational performance. The study recommends that the management of TANAPA provide bonuses, allowances, and extra allowances and equip staff with skills and knowledge to perform well. The study also recommends that management recognize employees who perform well and motivate those who perform poorly. Keywords: Employee Rewards, Organizational Performance and Effect of employees
