Effect of Motivation Employees Creativity in the Public Sector at Kwitanga Prison in Kigoma.

Abstract
The study aimed to examine the effect of motivation on employees' creativity in the public sector, with a specific focus on the Tanzania prison service. The study was guided by three objectives; to examine the effect of job satisfaction on employee’s creativity, to examine the effect of morale on employee’s creativity and to examine the effect of higher productivity on employee’s creativity. The study adopted positivist research philosophy. A quantitative research approach was also used in this study. A case study design was adopted. A sample of 109 were employed from a population of 150. Stratified sampling was adopted in this study. data collection was done through the use of structured questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and regression analysis. The findings showed that job satisfaction was positive and significantly related to employee’s creativity, Morale was also found to be positive and significantly related to employee’s creativity and Higher productivity was also found to be positive and significantly related to employee’s creativity. Therefore, this study recommends that there should be initiation of regular and anonymous surveys to assess the overall job satisfaction levels among employees at Kwitanga Prison. Secondly, it is recommended that there should be Fostering a leadership culture that prioritizes positive reinforcement, approachability, and support. Leaders play a crucial role in shaping morale; therefore, investing in leadership development programs can positively impact the overall work environment. Lastly, it is recommended that there should be clear communication performance expectations to employees, outlining specific goals and objectives. Providing a roadmap for success can instil a sense of purpose and direction, positively influencing both productivity and creativity.
